LUGI Handboll was one of 14 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Lundaspelen Summer 2018. The team in Pojkar 03 made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against LUGI Handboll 1 by 11-11.
In addition to this, LUGI Handboll have participated in Lundaspelen Summer before. During Lundaspelen Summer 2017, LUGI had 9 teams playing in Pojkar 03, Flickor 04 and Flickor 03 respectively. The team in Pojkar 03 made it to the the Bronze match in A-Slutspel, but lost it against LUGI Handboll 2 by 11-13. LUGI originates from Lund, which is the same city as where Lundaspelen Summer takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Lundaspelen Summer 2018 (Lödde Vikings, Ljunghusens HK, H43, HK Ankaret, IFK Malmö HF, Staffanstorps HK, LVHK, H43 Lund and IFK Malmö).
